At Canada Dry Mott’s, ACTION is at the heart of everything we do. It all begins with our Call to ACTION. Every CDM employee contributes to our success by taking action to meet the needs of our customers and consumers. ACTION is also about giving back to our communities.
All across North America, our employees are helping to improve communities through our corporate philanthropy program called ACTION Nation. The mission of ACTION Nation is to foster physically active, engaged, and sustainable communities where our employees, customers, and consumers live and work.
Since 2008 we have raised and donated over $20 million to United Way, helping improve education, financial stability, and health for individuals and communities. Through our 2017 annual giving campaign, DPS fundraised over $3.5 million and completed 83 ACTION Nation Month (ANM) volunteer grant projects in support of the nonprofit. ANM encourages employees at a DPS site to collectively contribute 50 volunteer hours to a nonprofit organization of their choice and earn a $1,000 grant for United Way. Charitable Donation Requests
We support a myriad of causes and nonprofit organizations that are aligned with ACTION Nation and benefit the communities where our offices are located. If you have a charitable request, please submit it at least 30 days prior to your event and allow at least two weeks for a response. For our corporate philanthropy decisions, DPS and CDM do not consider funding for the following:
Organizations that do not have an Internal Revenue section 501(c)(3) status.
Organizations that do not comply with Dr Pepper Snapple’s equal opportunity policy in both employment practices and provision of services.
Requests outside of Canada, the Caribbean, Mexico, or the United States.
Individuals or personal fundraising initiatives (e.g., GoFundMe).
Annual or capital campaigns and endowment funds.
Conferences or seminars.
Donations for religious or political purposes.
United Way agencies, except for special initiatives not already funded through local campaigns.
Courtesy advertising (including yearbooks and school programs).
If your request meets the above giving guidelines, please submit a formal request through Sponsorwise, our online sponsorship and donation system.
You can also submit noncharitable, brand-related sponsorship requests, such as those related to sports marketing, events and entertainment, music, individual/endorsements, and venue pouring rights via Sponsorwise. Brand-related requests, which take longer to properly activate, will require more lead time. Please submit your request at least six months prior to your event and allow at least four weeks for a response.
