The relationship between Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Canada Dry Mott’s, and our people is a vital part of achieving our vision to Be the Best Beverage Business in the Americas. We recognize that successful people have a tremendous desire to win. That’s why we leverage our Call to ACTION behaviours as our foundation to foster a workplace of people who are capable of being successful, feel empowered and engaged, and know they are equal contributors to the overall success of our business.
Our passion is building teams that win. Over the years we have implemented programs that enable our more than 19,000 employees to develop their careers, learn from their peers, and take charge of their personal wellness. DPS and CDM are about people and brands, and we emphasize every day that great people and great brands will produce great results. Read the 2015 Corporate Social Responsibility Report for more information.
DPS and CDM are on a mission to heighten safety awareness and ensure that safe working practices remain top of mind with our employees as we go about our jobs. One of the ways we’re doing this is by standardizing the way we report accidents so that we can analyze trends through a corrective action process and then implement improvements to prevent them from occurring again. Since 2009, we’ve made significant gains against our safety objective, having reduced our LTIFR by 19 percent.
We are a company of diverse brands and diverse people, and it is this diversity that helps us win in the marketplace. In 2011, DPS and CDM established a Diversity Leadership Council comprising members of our executive leadership team and senior management to set our diversity strategy and ensure the execution of our diversity agenda.
